Rain Fire here,

So it’s Saturday and the big changes are happening. Though really, it won't affect you all that much.

Lets get started in point form.

- These changes are merely being made to allow my co-author and editor AuthorGenesis to take care of CtD while I deal with all of my real life issues first. It will then transition to a joint profile that will allow us to post stories as a combined effort instead of just it being mine and he edits. So essentially, he is changing over from editor and co-author on one story, to a full time co-author with me. No stories that appear on this account from here on out are going to be a solo project.

So what does that mean? Merely that he now also has control over the account. Don’t worry, nothing big really happening aside from some changes that are listed below. Though this means that at times we will both be participating in stuff like this. So you’ll see an RF: or a AG: interject into something, depending on who controls the item. I.E. this is my journal so you’ll see AuthorGenesis interject things below.

Forward then!

-Now, because of the above point, the name of the profile is going to change. It will be changed to an acronym that includes the combination of our combined name. The new name: RF and AG. Yeah, nothing really special about it but it works and is efficient. AG: Plus, it still retains the familiarity of Rain Fire and my name: AuthorGenesis, prior to the merging, yet showing that a merger, with me joining on as a co-account to reflect the new dynamic.

- The profile pic will be changed ... only because AuthorGenesis can't agree that Luna is best pone, so it will be a Luna and Twilight pic. AG: Well, seeing as how we have differing opinions on who the best pony is, this was the best compromise, seeing as I’ll be joining and mucking around on Rain Fire’s profile. So this is to reflect the new addition of me being around on her FIMfiction account.

- We will make sure that it is obvious who says what and so on, so we will sign names at the end of each post and such. For example, there will be blogs posted by AuthorGenesis mainly regarding stories or possible stories, but either way we will make sure it will be signed by who posted it or if it is together than a joint signature.

Now, as for the two main stories from this profile as well as the future … Crossing the Divide is the main one in the focus here. Essentially, AuthorGenesis will cover that topic, and I will cover Metro.

Crossing the Divide: Crossing the Divide will still still be co-written by Rain Fire and myself, though, some chapters may end up being primarily written by me, AuthorGenesis, due to Rain Fire needing to focus on her real life responsibilities. That isn’t to say that she won’t contribute to the chapters written mainly by me, just that I would be taking on the bulk of the writing responsibility, while Rain Fire is busy with her life in the real world (RF: As well as focusing more on Metro).

Metro Retribution: Nothing will really change here, since AuthorGenesis isn’t as well versed in this series, he will still be primarily my editor in function though his position is Co-Author. I’m going to have more time now to work on it instead of having to fret as much about both stories. (AG: I’m sure all of you people who enjoy reading her story Metro will appreciate that!) I’m still going to be scarce but what little time I have to write can now be dedicated to this story.

Future Projects: It will be all collaborations between us from here on out. Whether one of our roles is smaller than the other, we will still be doing every single story together so as to ease our workloads and pump out a better finished product. There is at least one planned story in the future but that is all I, Rain Fire, am saying.

Now let’s let AuthorGenesis have a full fledged word.

Hello, AuthorGenesis here! I’m excited and a little nervous, or maybe to borrow Pinkie Pie’s vocabulary nervicited. That’s one thing I like about her, taking two words and mish-mashing them into a new word.

I’m not only looking forward to continuing on working as a Co-author for Crossing the Divide as well as providing my ability as RF’s editor for Metro, but for future stories that I will be co-writing with RF. So look forward to seeing (metaphorically, of course) more of me on this account.

Plus, I have my own stories that I’m currently working on, so more treats for you wonderful readers to look forward to. But I won’t say anything more than that. Aren’t I such a tease?

Though I think I really went way beyond the full fledged word Rain Fire intended to give me, don’t you think?
