Hey people. Two blog posts in two days. What is the world coming to?
I just wanted to make this post to say THANK YOU to all of my followers. Every day I find myself thankful that all of you have deemed me worthy to give your time and attention to. You guys give me my motivation to write, and if it weren't for you, I likely wouldn't be here today. Hell, I probably wouldn't be in college if it weren't for you guys, but that's a story for another time.
I'm making this post today because I've just realized something: it's been four years, almost exactly, since I started writing ponefics. According to Google Docs, the first fic I ever wrote―a Derpy/Carrot Top piece entitled Unforgettable―was begun on June 28, 2011. Four years dedicated to brightly colored horses with tattoos on their butts. Holy hell.
As I write this, I'm sitting in the exact spot I began writing that piece, four years ago. I was fourteen years old, and had just gotten out of my first year of high school. Now, I'm just out of my first year of college, majoring in English―all because of pony. I taught myself how to write entirely through MLP fanfiction. You guys were―and still are―my teachers. Every comment you leave, every note you make helps me. Thank you. Thank you.
