Well, remember how I said I was having PC Woes way back near the end of February? Welp, they're back again, and this time, it's most likely my hardware.
I will admit, even if I did take care of this little HP Compaq DC7600 of mine, not a whole lot would help the fact that is an old stallion that needs to be put out to pasture. If this thing fails on me, my capacity to update stories will be exceedingly hampered, as I don't have the money to get a new machine or even a smart-device that could replace it for a little while until I can get a proper PC again.
To that end, I have set up a Patreon. I'm fairly certain the vast majority of you know what Patreon is, but for the minority who don't, I will explain:
Patron is, in essence, a virtual tip jar for fans of a creator to pledge money towards. It works somewhat like a subscription service, wherein each patron can pledge a certain amount of money a month to support their favorite creators. Additionally, you can set how many times you'd like to pledge a certain amount of money, in case you're worried about overspending on someone. Unlike other pledge-based systems like, say, Kickstarter, you can't just take the money and run; it is made for content creators, and they only get money if they visibly produce content.
Every Patreon page has a mission statement, milestones, and pledge rewards. In exchange for your pledges, I will render unto a service, be it a personalized appreciation post in your PM box, reading a story that you recommend me and writing my thoughts on it, helping you with your draft, writing you a story of your choosing, or even including your character in one of mine!
I have incremental goals on the left-hand side, most of which I think are fairly reasonable, and I hope that if enough people donate, I might be able to get even better at producing content for you all.
Oh, and one last thing, NO, I am not withholding content behind a paywall. The only reason for which I have this is similar to that of RainbowBob's Patreon; I don't currently have a gainful employment, and quite honestly, I need any help I can get.
With that, behold my Patreon, and may your generosity aid us both. I thank you for your time, and hope that we can get through this together.

Setting some pretty big milestones for yourself there, aren't you? Better get writing.
