I don't know if anyone actually remembers her, but a while back, one of my closest friends from school, SunnytheAtheist, joined this site.
Yesterday, she and I were taking a walk together, talking about what we've been doing over the summer. Eventually, Fimfiction comes up. Curious about how many followers she has, I open her user page on my phone... and discover that she'd been banned.
Both of us are confused and have no idea what's going on, so she logs in to her account to see why she'd been banned. Upon doing that, we find out that her ban is a permanent one.
The reason given? It's a pointless account whose only purpose is upvoting Sleepy Panda. 
That's not true. Sure, she upvoted a bunch of my stories one day, but she'd also read then all. She didn't even know that it was against the rules. And because of my bad history with the site, she's banned for good rather than just given a warning or a short ban.
Also because of my bad history, the mod who banned her doesn't believe me when I told him what happened.
I think I need to take another break from this site... I honestly can't stand being on right now.

Thats a really stupid reason to get banned! It's her account, she can do what she wants with it! Those people shouldn't tell her what to do on her account.

Honestly, it's crap like this that makes me want to leave this site and never come back. It's utterly and completely ridiculous!
This is truly baffling. Panda just came off a ban not more than a day or two ago and it was only an eight day ban. Granted, she admitted to doing some pretty screwed up stuff but there's lots of members here who do far worse than she did and never hear a word from a mod about it so, yeah, it's definitely unfair and I strongly suggest she's being scape-goated for past behaviors she's already said she was making up for.

We can just hope that someone higher up sees this post and tries to fix things.

To be fair, Panda did break a huge number of rules about a week ago so it's no wonder some of the mods would be itchy and ready to toss a ban but, if she was banned for no reason then it totally sucks.

I think the issue is that they don't know whether or not Sunny is an alt account of mine.

It's not really their attitudes that bother me as much as it is the fact that I've dug my own grave and cannot find a way out of it. While yes, they may not have the best attitudes about everything, I get the feeling that they have to deal with a lot of bullshit.
