A Temporary Leave of Absence · 7:33am Sep 2nd, 2015
Alright, I don't wish to burden you all, so I will attempt to convey my message simply.
You all know that I have done nearly nothing since my last response to comments on Sweet and Salty, and it is not like me to not speak with my fans. The reason is simple, I don't want to converse with you all when I am emotionally... troubled.
Three days ago, my family found that our beloved pet cat, Preston, had died sometime in the night. He wasn't truly our own, more of a stray that we had taken in, but we loved him dearly. I won't go on and on about why or how he died, I'll only say that it was not a painful or slow way to pass on for him.
So, for the past few days, I've been keeping off of FIM-Fiction due to a lack of incentive to be social. The loss is a heavy one for me and my family, and since my Editor/Co-writer is a family member of mine, it just means we both have not been doing much of anything.
My hiatus will not last forever, but it will be for a bit. I will attempt to respond to all those who have commented so far, but after that, I'll be taking my momentary leave.
Now, I won't be seeing you all soon, but this won't last. All of you great readers have a Blessed Day. (Especially you, Fourpony)

My condolences to you but I too have been through the pain this brings. So chin up and one piece of advice for you. Keep smiling for this reason... You have friends here most of them you won't have met (like me) that will support you
