I spotted the first leaves begin to change colour today. In a couple of weeks it will be all over red and yellow, and a couple of weeks after that it will be mostly bare 
This interview with pony comic writer Christina Rice is interesting and in-depth (and also long, very very long), and among other things touches on the Tirek issue of Fiendship is Magic, which I adored. Turns out that very interesting Discord cameo at the end wasn't in the script: Tony Fleecs, the artist, added him in.
Incidentally, while the timeline makes no sense (as always), in this case because of that very interesting Discord cameo, I intended for the centaur in the court of the Queen of Golden Sands to be Sendak, Tirek's distrustful magical mentor from the comic, sent as ambassador from one kingdom of monsters to another. But that was one of many details that would take too long to explain in what was already a very crowded piece of text. Maybe I should add it to the wrap party blog, though?
