Good Feelings All Around

So it's barely been a day since I published this story, and it's already received way more attention that what I thought I'd get for my first fic! It just makes me feel amazing that people seem to like the story, even though I haven't done any creative writing in years and I'm probably a bit rusty (though it does help a lot to have a great friend edit your work, especially when you're writing at 3 AM and are completely tired).

Darn it, y'all are making me want to keep writing stories! I had a feeling that I'd probably want to write more after I was done with this, regardless of how it was received, but all the ratings and comments I've gotten make me want to keep writing; it's a really great feeling, and all of last night and earlier today I just had this stupidly large grin on my face because of it.
