It's Almost Upon Thee

Silence has broken into stride
Fate has given up on the wicked
And replaced the stones with weak,
A sign that impedes upon the progress strongly desired
But destiny has written it to be so...

Rarity: "What are you talking about?"

Rainbow Dash: "Yeah Note. That was a little creepy, even for you."

Oh if I was to tell the truth
That one white lie that never farces a soul,
You would be assured that your hope;
Fleeting as the fly on paper's hopefulness.

Fluttershy: "You hurt a poor fly? But why?"

Pinkie Pie: "No, Fluttershy. He's not talking about an insect. This is just some silly riddle of his."

Twilight Sparkle: "Pinkie's right. He's being metaphorical about his choice of words. Something odd is going on here."

Oh poor souls of the afterlife.
Redemption shall never fall upon thee
And your life has been sworn to oath,
Oath of eternal light and ever bottomless sorrow.

Twilight Sparkle: "Stop being weird, Feather Note, what's going on?"

Yet there is no pony standing before them. Silence has retaken its place above the world as top of their pecking order. Whispers, voices slowly rise from the ground, murmured words of "It's here", and "The wraith of Night has fallen, with the ally of the hunt soon upon us". The eeriness of the situation deepens... and so the mystery begins.

Pinkie Pie: "Oooh! A game!? I love games!"

Fluttershy: "I-I don't like th-this game..."

Rarity: "Darling. This is hardly the time for games. We need to figure out why there are voices so suddenly appearing around us."

Soon... soon my friends. This riddle to the question shall in time earn it's epitaph. And maybe... even you... the audience may figure out what has taken place. Oh but don't worry... the answer may shock you... and like the blackest of night, it shall drive it's spear into you and show you... how dark life can truly be...

Hmm... I wonder... So... some of you may wonder what is happening. Well don't worry... that trivia question will be answered tomorrow. And hopefully... you'll find out clues to what this means.
