Well, the date today that I'm writing this, is November 29th, 2015. The year is one month from being over. And well, this has been an interesting year for me. I've spent the last three years on this site, sometimes religiously updating my stories, sometimes appearing only to comment, sometimes not even doing that. I've had ups and downs the same as everyone else out there.
But, for those of you that follow me... You know the significance of May 14th, 2013. On that date, one of the longest roads I've taken in my life was paved. On that date, I released the first chapter of A New Equestria. Together, with the few dozens of people who've Favorited it, and followed me in response, I've gone on a road that has had many winding paths, even a broken bridge for a bit there. And well, I felt the need to write this Blog for all of you, as I missed A New Equestria's final chapter's birth date. (I had initially planned on releasing chapter 20 of A New Equestria Book 2 on that date as well.)
It took me about six months to write A New Equestria, which is the longest a single project had kept my interest at that time. And now, two years later, I'm proud to say... The first half of A New Equestria Book 2 is finally over. And with that, I'm going to reveal a few things about the ANEProject.
The first is this, Both A New Equestria, and it's companion story Blackened Night, follow a simple paradox called the Predestination Paradox. The extent of this Paradox, will be revealed at the final Chapter of A New Equestria Book 2 (Which I've always had set called End of Equestria.)
The second is this. For those of you who've read Chapter 20 of A New Equestria, yes. The Teacher is Rainbow Dash. She has been this entire time. As I said, A New Equestria follows the Predestination Paradox, which essentially states that you'll end up where you are and how you are, because you already did it.
A New Equestria, and the first half of A New Equestria Book 2, have followed Rainbow Dash's decent into madness and paranoia, which turns her into The Teacher due to the Mark of The Guardian granting her power equal the The Watcher. The second half of A New Equestria Book 2, and even Darkened Night, are focused on Sunset Shimmer and Rourke's mission to stop The Teacher.
Oh right... There are three god-like entities in the A New Equestria/Blackened Night multiverse. The first, is The Teacher, also known as Rainbow Dash. The Teacher's soul purpose is to destroy anything that interferes with her 'play' with the lesser entities. Then there's The Guardian, also known as Rourke of the Chaos. His soul purpose is to preserve the balance of the universe, and to prevent the other two from interfering with the lesser entities. Then, there's The Watcher. The oldest, and most powerful of the three entities. Where The Teacher's purpose is to toy with beings, The Watcher hides in the shadows, observing them, only interfering if he things they've strayed to far from the cosmic plan.
To many, including Twilight Sparkle, Celestia, and Luna, The Watcher doesn't actually exist. Only the first two do. But he's always been there, and will always be there, even after the battle between The Teacher and The Guardian concludes.
