Hello everyone, hope you are doing well and are enjoying New Year's Eve/Day depending on when you see this.
I would like to apologize for not updating recently. I have a lot of things nearly finished, but they are only that: nearly finished. I just have been having trouble actually finishing anything after a mob of trolls attacked my new story, "The Tarkin Doctrine", and ruined its likes and comments without ever even reading the story. I have since taken the story down, because to have something I worked so hard on torn apart by ignorant members of our community here is not how I want to spend my time here. If it was actual constructive criticism, fine, but the asinine behavior exhibited killed my writing muse.
In addition to this, I just got out of Finals and also surgery, so my ability to write has been diminished. Combined with lack of reader feedback, I just really haven't had it in me to write in the droves I once had.
I had intended to have multiple new releases for you guys these past couple weeks, but I am really not doing well. Be it the trolls or be it real life circumstances, things are difficult, but I intend to move on as best I can and have more content out for you guys in the next few days and weeks. Normally I would have conversations and fun with you guys through the comments on my stories, but even that has dried to nearly nothing the past month or two. Kind of hard to artificially manufacture the same energy that that creates that helps me keep writing.
For now, those who are interested in reading my new Star Wars/Pony crossover story can find it on fanfiction.net and on archiveofourown, depending on whichever one you prefer. I prefer reading on fanfiction.net, but if you could support it on whichever you read on it would mean a lot to me. Not being able to have it here on Fimfiction without dealing with some of the worst of our community is a huge blow to my enthusiasm for writing as a whole, but if it can receive support in other forms I may be able to get some of that back.

You have my sympathy, though my creative difficulties are due more to work-related frustrations than anything else.
Sorry about the trolls, though. I'd say kill them with fire, but alas, flames make them stronger. Perhaps drowning? Or chuck some big rocks at them?
3655262 I am thankful for the wishes of fire and water, but sadly there is nothing on this site I can do about people like that. Ignore them? They still taint the comment section and ruin the like/dislike ratio. Try and talk to them? They call in reinforcements to escalate it. Block them? Oh, wait, you can't block on this website except for PM's, making the whole feature basically worthless since they can still contact you through comments.

And I was feeling in the mood to write for those stories, but my writing muse for this site was killed quite terribly. Going to ease back into it later this week, but I haven't exactly been jumping to write here as I have previously.
