Looking back and going forward.

Been a while, hasn’t it?

Cutting to the chase, I am cancelling The Lights of Music.

Allow me to explain:

As I'm sure you are aware, I am a slow writer. It has taken me from one to several months to post new chapters to a story.

During the second half of last year, most of my time was devoted to studying for actuarial exams. I tried writing for an hour or so everyday after studying, but still could scarcely make progress. My time became quite scarce and precious. Not only that, but with season 5 ending, it dawned on me that the show will not be around forever. The time I have to tell my stories, of which there are many, is limited. This caused me to choose to spend that time doing other things that I thought more important and got more enjoyment out of.

Going forward…

As some of you may have noticed, I have posted a couple of small stories accompanying pictures I've drawn as well as a similarly written fic that was long enough to be it's own story. I believe this to be a more efficient way to get my stories out without waiting months between chapters.

I may post some of my stuff here in future, but most of it will be going up on my dA, if any would like to follow me there.

On that note, I could use all of your help. I am currently holding a vote for which of my story ideas to do next. I will be drawing the winner in segments, writing a small ‘chapter’ with each drawing. The options are in a journal on my deviantart.

I would love it if you could take the time to let me know which ideas interest you. You can vote for more than one.

I’ll be sorry to see anyone go. Thank you in advance to those who wish to continue following. I hope to continue bringing you my stores for as long as I can.
