    Hey Everyone

I know it's been a while. I wish I had a legitimate excuse, but the truth is I've just been lacking any sort of drive to do anything here.

I have no idea if I'll ever finish any of my unfinished stories, nor do I know if I'll continue to add to my Known World project.

    Not Dead

    ...been a while, though, huh?

I want to apologize for not being as active here anymore, but i'm also not about to promise that that will change any time soon.

side note: are Discord and Deviantart being weird for anyone else?

a list of my favorite Star Wars villains/antagonists

10: Darth Maul

Holding a special place since Phantom Menace was the first of the movies I remember seeing, Maul's design was one of the few things from Star Wars that legitimately scared me as a child. However, as time went on, I took him for granted up until his appearance in the Clone Wars TV series as a half-mad, half-mechanical drider thing, and then as a cyborg Sith warrior

It was this series that really made me appreciate Maul as a character rather than a threat, since in Phantom Menace that was what he struck me as: a sort of opposing force rather than a developed character, the Sombra of the movies, if you will.

9: King Gorneesh

King of the Duloks, Gorneesh varies from major villain to minor antagonist in the Ewoks television series, depending on the plot, with plans ranging from stopping the Tree of Light from being renewed in order to allow evil to spread to... stealing soap from the Ewoks because bugs are bothering his tribe.

Yeah.

It's probably for this reason that while the Duloks are one of my favorite races, Gorneesh himself is only at #9.

8: Ziro

Appearing within the Clone Wars animated movie and series, Ziro has recently struck me as what would probably happen if Gideon from Gravity Falls was transferred to the Star Wars Universe, sans magic powers and "adorableness".

However, his convoluted plan was so cheesy compared to the usual Star Wars fare that I actually found myself enjoying the character. Let's face it, Jabba's great, but Ziro's the most flamboyant Hutt.

7: Nute Gunray

Yes, Nute outranks Maul in my book. Maybe it's his cowardice, maybe it's his dialogue, I don't know.

6: Greedo

Just Greedo.

5: Sebulba

Let's sit back a moment and appreciate how important Sebulba actually is to Star Wars. Without him, Anakin would never have had the drive to keep improving his skills. He would never have persevered and kept trying until he won. he wouldn't have gotten off the planet, gotten Jedi training, met Padme, turned to the Dark Side, etc...

In a way, Sebulba's a good equivalent to the Dilophosaurus in the first Jurassic Park movie: an important but overlooked character that still carries as a fan favorite.

4: Morag

The main antagonist to the Ewoks in the Ewoks television series, Morag introduced the idea of witches in Star Wars LONG before those Dathomiri broads showed up. Episodes involving her always had a slightly darker tone than the rest of the series (seeking to kill the Ewoks AND having a giant dragon Mantigrue as a pet can do that...). She's evil, she's smart, and she'll get rid of anyone in her way.

3: Jabba Desilijic Tiure

Of course Jabba is on this list!

my favorite Star Wars character, Jabba's molded my idea of the ultimate crime lord for a while. just look at that magnificent slug and tell me he doesn't look like an alien crime lord!

Of course, all the spin-offs, books, shows, and other things have shown Jabba's more than a crime lord...

...Including a loving single parent (Hutts are hermaphrodites, btw, so Rotta's his and his alone)

2: General Grievous

Grievous, a wonderfully well-built character thanks to the television series, is only #2 because of my preference, though he's actually tied in for first place, so whatever.

Grievous has a really well-built character, and has far more hidden depths if his interactions with his homosexual life partner personal medical droid EV-A4-D is anything to go by.

Interesting note, in Kaleesh faith, Kaleesh warriors become gods when they die, and Grievous actually has his own shrine on his home planet now, and is a revered member of the local pantheon.

1: Darth Vader

Oh don't act surprised

HONERABLE MENTION:

CAD.

F*CKIN.

BANE.

B*TCHES.

something else to note about Jabba the Hutt: Without Jabba, we NEVER would have gotten the sexy Slave Leia costume! just saying. Oh, Stag...I'm a bit surprised that Emperor Palpatine, and Count Dooku aren't here...

3750216 they're numbers 12 and 11, respectively

3750222 hmm. hmm. now what about Kylo Ren? The new guy on the block? or for that matter, Agent Kalos from the Rebels series? I WOULD say the Inquisitor, but really since that's more a job title, rather than an actual name, I'm not gonna count them.

3750230 Ren's an emo, and I haven't watched enough of Rebels.

3750233 Kalos is basically robocop/the terminator. he's hellbent on capturing the squad of rebels, no matter what. so far at least. he apparently enjoyed hunting down the same aliens that one member of the team is a portion of...AND even had one of their special guard weapons, angering him further. the guy's basically a full on trooper, he won't stop...

as for Ren...yeah he's emo...and by god is he entertaining to watch (*points at two rage moments*) but his motivation is both interesting, and silly...

3750251 yeah, but still, he's not on this list.

although, if he WAS, he'd be at #56.

btw, the Tusken Raiders are at #13

You really should see Rebels if only to see another reason why no one likes Tarkin.
