Greetings fellow tiny horse humanists! King of Beggars here with the anthropomorphic news!
My newest story is now out and ready for your complaints of, "This isn't TwiGuard!" It's called Sundowner and in it Sunset Shimmer embarks on an epic quest to find and have sex with herself, Celestia, Luna, and Cadance, all at the same time.
Except that none of that happens. Story's actually more of a supernatural detective thing. Think Dresden with boobies. It's in first-person, and I don't write first-person often, so maybe it's a little rough, but I think it came out okay. I hope you'll give it a try!
As a side note, what's up with this Sunset Shimmer Renaissance these past few months? I decided I wanted to do a Sunset story after TwiGuard back in like, August, and suddenly everyone is on that Sunset tip. Is crazy. I was beating the hell out of myself trying to squint at this EqG stuff to try and write a serious story about it. You CAN'T examine it too closely, or you start seeing the seams where nothing makes sense. I did my best to sort it all out, but ugh. Why would anyone else do this to themselves?
Anyway, I'm really excited about this project. Thanks for reading (hopefully)! I hope you enjoy it and that you'll join me next time!

Well, every time an EG movie comes out, Sunset Shimmer becomes more popular again. I forget, was the third one too long ago to count as inspiring something that started months back?
