Of The Night, Chapter 2 is now published. Let's rejoin Night Glider as her journey continues!
I'd like to again apologize for how long it took to get this chapter up; a lot of things came up that I had to deal with first. All positive, mind you, but they took priority. Things like getting certified in laser cutting, working on projects for an awesome maker space in Seattle, and more business-related things.
I can honestly say that so far, 2016 has been going pretty good Leaving the work force to do my own thing has been paying off quite well; I'm finally doing a lot of things I've been meaning to do for a while, such as taking swimming up again to lose weight, starting my own youtube channel related to gaming, streaming on twitch, things like that.
That note about swimming is actually relevant to writing. See, years ago when I was swimming, I would be thinking about writing while doing laps, getting scenes perfectly laid out in my head. And when I would get home, I would commit them to paper almost immediately, while they were still fresh in my mind. That's how Smiling Flowers and Exit Through Canterlot came to be. And I think it's going to benefit Of The Night, as it will get chapters out a bit quicker.
Again, thank you for your patience with this story. We're only just getting started (Of The Night will be about 9-10 chapters, just depending on how I decide to break a few key moments up), and I hope you continue to enjoy the ride!
