My knee surgery's going to be moved to Saturday. Honestly, I'm kind of surprised that it's happening so soon. I've heard of somebody that injured their arm doing something I can't remember and had to wait six weeks for a surgery. I only have to wait six days. Anyway, the surgery is going to be in a big city (one that I'm not going to name, since I prefer privacy) a couple of hours away, and my family can't afford to have me flown in by helicopter or airplane. Not to mention that this isn't an emergency. That means I'll have to go there by car. So from mid-Friday to probably Monday, I won't be able to do much of anything on the computer.
This will also be my first time in the city. I've always liked the city, too. It just kind of sucks that I had to get in a car crash to go there. Also, I'll probably start saying 'hit by a car' instead of 'got in a car crash' since it sounds better. I mean, both sound bad, but 'hit by a car' rolls off the tongue better. Anyway, combining the surgery with being in the city, I'll be having an impromptu vacation. It's been almost a year since I had one. Getting hit by a car has its benefits, but I wouldn't recommend doing it. You can quote me on that.
I guess I should say some news for the story. It's been making a bit of progress. I've got a name for it now. Hold Me In Your Arms, after a song by The Trews that I love. I'll probably need an editor for the story, since about 15% of it will be written on drugs (literally.) Anyway, here's the song.
