Pardon the dust, just splitting up some chapters. Also a progress report on Ch.13. (Not an April Fools' joke.) · 10:10pm Apr 1st, 2016
Apologies for the update spam. None of the updates from today are actually new chapters; I'm just splitting up old ones, separating the Shadow Fragments from their principle chapters. I figured I'd do it during April Fools' day, while no one's taking anything seriously.
As for why I've been mostly AWOL since my last chapter: I recently returned to college, have been making efforts to revitalize my social life, and now have a significant other. While those things have kept me from writing, I will say that, emotionally and mentally, I'm in a much better place than I was near the end of last year.
A lot is happening in the next three chapters—many plot points that I've been developing over the last year are converging, and it's a lot of spinning plates to juggle. Considering how important the next few chapters will be, and how much I've been trying to keep everyone's feedback in mind as I write, I've been trying to take the time to absolutely nail everything down. It's already broken 15,000 words, and is set to get much longer than that.
I know you guys are probably anxious to keep reading, so, as previously established (and I promise this isn't an April Fool's joke), I'll be releasing the Shadow Fragment first this coming Sunday, and hopefully I'll have Chapter 13 up later in April.
Thanks for sticking around everyone. Hope to do you proud in the coming months.
P.S. If you missed my actual April Fools' crap, here you go.
Still so stoked you took my advice! love you and your writing so much Swan, glad to wait if it's gonna be good!
What is this new name of yours.
It feels unoriginal.
Does this mean it'll no longer go on my deadfic bookshelf?

"What? It's not dead! It's only been, like, a month or two at most—?"
