Incoming sequel for The Library of Discord: Please read "A Place for Pinkie" first

I wrote a blog post a year and a half ago about finishing writing the sequel for the Library of Discord. I'm proud to announce that the procrastination is over, and that the first chapter of the new story will be up on Tuesday.

I gotta warn you though, this story is weird and dark. I've been hesitant to publish it for a while as it covers some extremely philosophically sensitive topics. A lot of bizarre things happen in the quest for a happy ending continue.

Before you dive in though, you'll need to read this story. It establishes the cosmology of the multiverse surrounding Discord's Library. And it provides a very different macro perspective on the nature of Equestria.

The plots for A Place for Pinkie and The Library of Discord coalesce and foil each other in the combined sequel: Reincarnation or Immortality.

Not quite! You can read A Place for Pinkie or The Library of Discord in any order. They're both standalone stories set in the same multiverse.

You just need to have them both read before you read their combined sequel.
