Tip o' Whenever I Feel Like (Humility) · 4:55pm Sep 1st, 2012
If anyone has ever seen the movie "The Music Man", they would know it is about a con-man who wants to be a conductor. This is where my name comes from.
Am I qualified to be giving advice to tens of authors? No, not in any way. The reason why I give my advice is to try and help myself and others. But fear not, there are people who are way more qualified then I.
I subscribe to two blogs: The Bluesman of MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) and The Snow Flake Guy. The Bluesman is a business man who uses MLM's to make good money, and shares how others can take advantage of these unique business opportunities. "But what does marketing have to do with writing?" I'm glad you asked.
MLM's are different than regular jobs because any successful MLM marketer needs to be self-driven. Most people fail at MLM's because they do not have the passion to press on. In The Bluesman's blog, he gives advice not only on how to build your down-line and find new customers, but also how to stay focus, how to keep pursuing your dream. His blogs are well written, and he connects to many outside concepts, some of which you may want to check out to 'spice up' your writing.
The Snow Flake Guy is the qualified writing adviser. He has a resume as long as both my arms. He knows how to write, publish, and market novels. If you are serious about writing a good story, maybe even a great novel, you will subscribe.
To sign-up for these great mentors' advice, go to http://bluesmanofmlm.com/ for The Bluesman's blog and http://www.advancedfictionwriting.com/ for The Snow Flake Guy's blog. Read every word, enshrine it in your mind, and let the rains of experience take it to your heart.
Always Sincerely,
The Music Man
