Today is Andrew Francis' birthday, he is the voice of Shining Armor and more recently was the voice of Night Light at the end of "The Crystalling". At one point, Francis was also mistakeningly believed to be the voice of Braeburn (he wasn't, that was Michael Dangerfield).
Andrew has had other roles outside of MLP, including voicing the primary character in "Mega Man NT Warrior" and "Mega Man NT Warrior: Access". And last year, he recieved the 2015 Leo Award for Best Performance Voice - Animation Program or Series, due to his roles in "Max Steel" (the episode "Toxic Relationship".)
Happy birthday Andrew, so many people unfairly rag on Shining Armor for being bland or because of how he acted in "A Canterlot Wedding", and if they would look past such accusations they would find a very enjoyable character. I hope we get to see more of Shining Armor in the near future, and that he'll get his own day in the spotlight.

Interestingly enough, that show had William Anderson composing the score, and included Scott McNeil (Chief Thunderhooves, Flam, Rover the Diamond Dog) as Wolverine, Michael Dobson (Bulk Biceps) as The Blob, Richard Ian Cox (Snails, Dumbbell, Grandpa Gruff, Featherweight) as Quicksilver, Richard Newman (Cranky Doodle Donkey) as Omega Red, Matt Hill (Soarin) as Havok, Tabitha St. Germain (Rarity, Granny Smith, Luna, Suri Polomare, Mrs. Cake) as Dani Moonstar, Chantal Strand (Diamond Tiara, Spoiled Rich) as Wolfsbane, Andrea Libman (Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Bon Bon) as X-23, Samuel Vincent (Flim, Party Favor) as Forge, Nicole Oliver (Princess Celestia, Cheerilee, Tree Hugger) as Risty Wilde, and Trevor Devall (Iron Will, Fancy Pants) as Pyro/John Allerdyce. It also had David Kaye as Charles Xavier, and David Hayter as Captain America.

Happy Birthday to Andrew Francis, i say too.:) I really do wish people would stop giving Shining such a hard time over the stuff you mentioned: he really is a good character that i always enjoy seeing, and consider my absolute favorite out of all of them. And though i probably haven't said it before, the way you portray him in your "MLP Stallion Edition" series is awesome, and i always enjoy reading it. You really capture what i feel makes Shining Armor great, and i applaud you for it.:)
