So, Twilight's Thrones Chapter 3 Part II (Pinkie) has metasized again. It's probably -- at the current rate-- going to end up 12-14K.
Some of that will probably be lost in editing, but it was gently suggested to me that I might be making people work a little too hard for the payoff-- while Twilight uses Pinkie pretty thoroughly, the actual "sit on face" part of the "thrones" doesn't happen until about 10K in-- so about 20K total before getting to the theme of the fic. At the moment, I'm probably going to leave the structure as is, but I could probably cut that considerably by removing some elements and handwaving others. I guess my question to those of y'all who've waited quite patiently for this to come out-- would you prefer that I cut down the length severely, or was the last chapter relatively fun and playing up relatively ok?
Keep it all. No trimming the fat, keep all the juicy bits in. Prolong the reward, and make us want to read more. Make our brains read every line you got.

Awww, thanks, folks! I really appreciate it. The chapter is done, I just need to find an editor -- my current editor is under the weather and overworked. That's not a recipe for good editorial control.
Given that my editor is my spouse, prodding for more seems like a good way to get shanked. Spouse knows where I sleep.
