Hello all, I hope you who read this are in good health and spirits. It's been far too long since I've said anything on my account other than posting random stuff here and there to my whims. I've been struggling IRL with motivation and my idea of what I want my future to be, but enough about that, I'm here to do two things:
So my laptop's getting all sorts of problems, restarting every day and taking 30+ minutes to start up, shutting down every time I try to open some apps, and now it says the battery's dying and needs to be replaced. I tested it out and it only lasts 10 minutes off the plug at the lowest power settings, so I'm dropping it off at a repair shop this weekend. Don't know when I'll be back, but
4018841 To best honest, Titanfall was a great proof of concept for a new IP (definitely a "meh" game, but a great proof of concept). The core of Titanfall was solid, and there definitely was a gem, but poor design choices (only an MP Campaign and no private matches at launch???) and management of DLCs (the first DLC basically killed it for me, there just wasn't enough there to keep my interest at all) basically killed it. I'm honestly surprised that EA even considered a Titanfall 2, much less put it into production.
Here's to hoping that EA won't screw this up too. I love the Titanfall lore and fluff (even toying with some Titanfall fanfics when I have free time), but the negatives were too much for it.
I'm going against my word after the cluster-foxtrot that was The Division, and am preordering the game tomorrow. I just hope that this doesn't bite my in the rear.
PS: I wonder if this game will be what saves the COD IP, like how the first Titanfall "saved" Advanced Warfare
Oh hey, they got it right the second time, hopefully.
Activating Laser Core.
Grappling hooks, grappling hooks
And that single player, mmm
I'm totally buying this game as soon as I can
Can't wait for the story too

Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2, Plants VS. Zombies 2, Bad Company 2, the magic number with EA games is 2.

That is true, then they drop the ball on the third one. Dead Space 3 and Mass Effect 3

Battlefield 3.
But still, it's gonna be great!
My favorite movie of all time is Iron Giant, and when the Titan started talking, I literally shrieked.
This... just THIS!!!
THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN WHAT WE GOT THE FIRST GO ROUND!
But on that note, I am glad they listened to fan feedback and improved on everything. The multiplayer trailer is awesome too.
4018798 And Mass Effect 3 wasn't a dropped ball... it fumbled a bit with the ending, but the overall game was still great.

I have gripes about the Cerberus operative we keep running into, though.
Just listen to this guy: 3:01
4018840 But Battlefield 1 (5) Will be amazing!

I think it's appropriate I was listening to daft punk when I saw this...
I absolutely loved the first titanfall, but the LMG was a bit of a " WIN GUNFIGHT" button and that annoyed me to no end.
