Zootopia and sjw · 3:36am Jul 29th, 2016
The term social justice is a relatively old one going back to the early 1900's.
In fact it was often use by one of my heroes Theodore Roosevelt also spoke of social and industrial justice
Teddy Roosevelt is the nationalist kind... he's one who believed americans should strive to impose our ways on others. Live and let live is a decidedly nonexistent phrase in the sjw vocab.
We're about the third wave sjw now...and its in the hands of college students who've never lived through true evil, have no idea's of communist rule and Chea Guivera, who most of their lives have been told they're the future, who lack any semblance of morality or general good will like with the hippie's, and demand in a place that once encouraged free thought and debate to have speech codes which change every few hours.
I'm.... scared , , a woman pitching a fit outside a auditorium because Milo Yannopolis was speaking and God forbid he didn't parrot the proper virtue signaling, the numerous demands for censorship and segregation, too horrific fanboys tormenting a young girl for fanart, this pervasive and preposterous demands that all others must coddle and cowtow to the incessant ramblings of children who declare their asthetic sense an actual gender and must be acknowledged with male and female, people advocating genocide and then go another video about gun control and any government attempts at their removal from the citizenry to be in the peoples best interest because they want us all "Safer."
We are literally a few short hairs away from slipping into an age more horrendous then that which followed the between the fall of the pre classical era and the Renneisance.
I think this is what I disliked zootopia. Sure, it talked about bias and all that,,, I can't really blame the rabbits for being bigots because, hello, rabbit. They'd be mad not to be at least a little apprehensive . And yes, Judy profiled... she saw someone shifty and followed that logic. If it looks, walks, and acts like a duck, its a safe bet, And she ended up being right since it was a hustle. And this is where it did do well... Nick tried to be a good citizen, tried to fit in... and he got hurt for it. But with the collar... think about it
The tame collar... its not so bad, some say. After all, its just a little prick. Its so the prey can feel at ease, and its not even really needed. One little click, and your city welcomes you! You're one of us now! And wouldn't have little Nick been pleased as punch to get a collar if it meant he could be a scout!
One little law, come on, what are you, sexist/homophobic/racist, what could a few ordinaces on public discourse, its not because you're a bad person! We still need to dictate your life and opinions though, or failing that, ruin you for not falling in line.
Hmm... I'm not sure what to think of this. How taming to live in a society that promotes freedom doesn't sound so much like freedom from the animal being tamed.

or perhaps more concerning why such a society needs to "tame" adult sapients at all
