So today I watched 'Dungeons and Discords' · 1:22pm Aug 29th, 2016
Was different from what I expected.
Was not disappointed.
I'm so happy to see more of Discord being Discord, and the return of his 'scary voice'.
It also gives me more fuel to write things that contain him.
Discord’s brow raised, picked itself, and took flight as it searched for ever greater heights, before vanishing into the ether to be replaced by a fresh new one. He looked down to his cup, noting the absurd lack of any tea, then threw it over his shoulder where the cup promptly exploded into a shower of confetti, and a dove or two flew past the table and out the window over Opal’s head.
Makes me think about my own fic, this episode.

A ninja. She plays by her own rules though and makes weapons and tools out of specialized candy.
I'm thinking of combining ninja and bard somehow. Maybe a more supporty ninja.
Fluttershy already has has the musical aspect covered as a harp wielding druid.

Perhaps I can offer an idea:
A magical Lute and a Flute.
One can be used to craft powerful songs that subvert the laws of nature and bends the minds of one's enemies to your own will.
The other plays a whimsical tune to liven the soul and warm the hearts of many.

Both are pretty great. I think I'll go with the flute for Pinkie Pie. That seems to be the most fitting instrument for her, but having both won't be bad.

For ghost squad I never really got the idea cover (though spoopy Rarity is cute).
I am lucky though that I can make my own. The private pie one was vectored fully from the show, with some minor details added.
