I'm thinking of setting up a Patreon account...but I'm not sure what I should do. · 12:04am Sep 21st, 2016
I want to try and make a little bit of money through Patreon, via donations/funding so I can afford new equipment and programs to help improve my content and also learn new ways of getting better at what I do, so you all can enjoy my stuff more often.
Thing is...I need to know what it is I'm good at that I can use as my talent on Patreon, the thing that I wish to be funded for.
I don't think for certain I'd like to be funded for story writing since my interest in writing comes and goes (mostly going) and my stories...well, I myself wouldn't pay to see new chapters because my stories are crap, save for those few lucky ones that you guys liked for some strange reasons.
So, I'm gonna ask you this question; what do you guys and gals think I am better at doing - making animations, or drawing artwork?
The choice that gets the most votes will be what I base my Patreon page upon. I don't think anyone with a brain will want to fund me of all people, but if I got a couple pounds it'd be nice.
Also, hope you are all safe and warm in your homes, folks. Britain's been having some cold nights lately.
Patreon would be perfect for artwork. Partrons get a sneak-peek of your next art project. But It could also work for animations. So why not both?

I will donate, but by the stars, if you use the money to buy software... I don't know what I would do with myself.
Tell me what programs you want and I'll immediately get them for you, and no patreon money will have to go waste.
I think both of those skills are pretty good... You could use the money for a computer upgrade, a new drawing tablet, or new computer equipment. Or muffins. Or a life sized woona plushie. Or what have you. It's up to you.
But for the love of everything that is Faust, don't spend money on software. I'm here for you.

4220190 I don't really know what software or programs I really need, if any at time. My methods are unconventional, but they work well enough for me. i would however, prefer a way of producing my animations faster so I can get more content out on my channel, if such a thing was possible.
i'm surprised you'd actually donate to my Patreon page. I thought I'd have to do a lot more stuff to earn your support first.
