I love both stories. I have to admit I'm a bit more excited about Opposition, but I'd be happy with an update of either. I suggest writing whichever of the two feels smoother to write currently. Or flip flop between the two. Or whichever is more enjoyable. :P To prevent yourself from hitting an unpleasant writer's block.
(But I'm super hyped about Not The Hero! :D Thanks for the update!)
I like NEFY better and it's more interesting in terms of characterization, because self-doubt isn't something that's often attributed to Discord, so there's that. Lots of self-recrimination, lots of self-irony, lots of self-centeredness, but not a Discord who genuinely wonders if he might actually be a bad person (rather than being quite certain he's a bad person and smug as hell about it.)
Hell, either's cool, but in the interest of fairness, I'd say go for the one that's been languishing without an update the longest.
Well, you have two completed chapters after the one you're working on for No Escape From Yourself, right? I'll say go for that one, because I think that three chapters would satisfy people for a while.
Please tell me that you won't cancel "No Escape From Yourself"! I really want to see what happens!

While I would prefer opposition, it's ultimately up to you. What do you WANT to write, Ala? That's what you SHOULD write.
I'd prefer to see more No Escape From Yourself. But it is largely about which you would prefer to write!

But I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever Discord you write; no other author turns me into quite the screaming, rabid fangirl compared to my usual serious mien. (It's like you Discord me with your Discord!)
I'm watching both, but I must admit I'm in the camp that is most excited about Elements of Opposition. Been enjoying that one for years!
