First things first, if you don't know what the title of this post is from, watch this: https://youtu.be/8Tc7MH5ZXbg
Full disclosure, at the time of writing this I am barely hanging on after an all nighter. Man, I really don't handle these as well as I did in college...
...In retrospect, I probably didn't handle them very well in college either.
Anyways, it's Friday, and a new story is out! There's no reason in particular that I'm releasing it now, and it's not like I do regular Friday updates (If you're expecting those, I have some bad news for you), but I've had this story mostly finished for like a week and a half now.
The story is, of course, Creature Comforts. It's a short and sweet AppleDash fic, because the world could always use more AppleDash. Funny story, actually, this fic started out as something entirely different. Like, waaaaaaaaaay way different. But, by the time I had gotten through the first scene of that story, I decided I liked it enough to make it standalone. And that's how Creature Comforts was made!
I gave up on the other story idea though, so y'all ain't getting that one. Besides, I've been way too consistent as it is with new stories. What am I, some kinda reliable author? Of course not! I don't work for you people! Get off my lawn! *throws breakfast burritos*
On a slightly different note, I managed to eat my way through like 20 breakfast burritos last week, and I can't get them out of my mind. Have you ever eaten 20 breakfast burritos in a week? Of course not, you have standards, and don't hate yourself that much. What was really strange was that 2 of them were 'special' burritos. Namely, not-breakfast-burritos wrapped in a tortilla shell, that my friends thought would be funny to slip in with the rest of the burritos. Lemme tell ya, biting into a summer sausage when you're expecting a burrito after a long night of drinking is a weird experience.
Anyways, most of what I'm writing here isn't really necessary information to you guys. Like, probably 80% at least is rambling. Honestly, none of this is necessary. It's not like this is required reading. You don't get extra credit for making it this far. At this point I've just been up for about 30 hours, and I still got another 8 to go, and I'm trying to buy time before sleep inevitably claims me. Hopefully I pass out somewhere more comfortable than the floor. My roommates are getting tired of tripping over me at night...
Man, are you actually still reading this? That's actually kind of impressive. God knows I wouldn't have made it this far. I can only assume that if you're still reading you either a) think I'm funny (that can't be it, I'm not funny), or 2) you're High_Light. In the case of the second one, rock on, you glorious man you! Ok, I think this is enough random babbling for one blog post. I'm gonna go get more coffee.
