Y'all want to read the first 1k words of the chapter? 
There's a little bit of background info that's pretty important for character development, so that's one of the reasons why I'm sharing it here. I promise there's nothing cloppy in what I'm sharing, so have at it!
Twilight leaned in, pressing her lips hard against Rainbow’s as she used her magic to pull her head in. She quickly found that that wasn’t necessary though, for she felt Rainbow’s hoof slip up the back of her neck until it lay against the back of her head, holding her in tightly. Her tail flicked once, pushing away the dress that still rested on her rear legs. She stepped out of it, then broke the kiss. “Would you like some help in undressing, Dashie?” she asked with a nervous, yet sly smile.
“Actually, yeah, that’d be nice.” Rainbow pulled off her bow, then set it down on the nightstand. After Twilight pulled her dress off of her with her magic, she grabbed Twilight’s bow with her teeth and placed it right next to hers. “So... uh...” She rubbed the back of her neck, the soft silk of the stockings feeling wonderful upon her fur. Rainbow glanced at the bed, then nodded at it as she looked back up into Twilight’s eyes.
Twilight bit her bottom lip and nodded back. She climbed up onto the bed and lay on her stomach, her forelegs held out in front of her. “So... yeah,” she said rather lamely, a light blush tinting her cheeks as Rainbow lay down right beside her. She crossed her forelegs as she glanced at Rainbow for a moment.
“...Yeah...” Rainbow blushed as she glanced to the side, her gaze locked on the pillows that lay just out of reach. “So... um... have you read any books on how two mares can, uh...” She licked her lips and laid a hoof on Twilight’s. “You know...” she said, her voice so soft, almost like a whisper.
“Make love?” Twilight asked. She lifted a hoof and placed it on top of Rainbow’s as she smiled softly, gazing into her eyes. “I must admit that... no, I have not. And I... don’t really have much knowledge on... intimate things other than kissing, but...” Her foreleg started to tremble on top of Rainbow’s, and even though she took a few deep breaths, her heart rate only sped up. “I’m willing to learn with you, if you want to learn with me.” She leaned in and nuzzled Rainbow’s cheek, her eyes drifting shut as she felt Rainbow lean into it for a few brief moments. “So... are you a...” Twilight lightly chuckled once. “You know...”
“A virgin?” Rainbow gulped once, then threw on a shaky smile. “S-Sorta, yeah. Are you?”
Twilight felt Rainbow’s grasp on her hoof tighten momentarily. “Y-Yeah, I am too. I’ve never been in a serious relationship like this before... What about you?” She flicked her tail over Rainbow’s flank and licked her dry lips.
“Well... I dated a couple of stallions before I moved to Ponyville, but that was only because of peer pressure. The rest of my friends were dating stallions at the time, and they were always going on double dates. I always felt like I was being left out from having fun with my friends, so because of that, my friends helped me find a stallion to date and... I’ll just say that he didn’t really treat me that nice. He told me I wasn’t acting like a mare should act, so I dumped him in the middle of our first date. It wasn’t the best decision I ever made, especially since it turned me into an outcast from my friends, but it helped me realize that I wasn’t really into stallions. That’s when I made the decision to move to Ponyville for a fresh start.” Rainbow draped a wing over Twilight’s back and tugged her close. “I’m only telling you this because I know you’ll never tell another soul. Nopony in our small circle of friends knows this, except you, of course.”
“Thank you for telling me that, Dash. It means a lot to me that you trust me that much, really,” Twilight said, laying her head against Rainbow’s neck.
“Yeah, no problem,” Rainbow said, folding her wing back to her side. “And...” Her ears flicked down as another secret danced on the tip of her tongue. “I never really dated anypony after that, mainly because I didn’t want to disappoint my parents if they found out that I wasn’t straight. Back then, I didn’t know if they’d still love me if I told them I wasn’t really into stallions, so I kept my lips sealed. But you know what’s funny? When I told them I had a crush on you the last time I saw them, they didn’t really bat an eye at me being interested in mares. I guess that’s what gave me the strength to be a little bit more forward, and... I’m really glad I did, Twilight.” She leaned in and planted a soft kiss on Twilight’s cheek, right below her ear. “Really, I am,” she whispered before she leaned back.
“Thank you, Dash,” Twilight whispered back. “So...”
Rainbow already knew what Twilight was going to ask, but she held her tongue for the moment, wanting nothing more than to hear her next words.
“How... should we go about, uh... making love?” Twilight asked. She pushed herself up to where the pillows lay, then rolled onto her side, facing Rainbow. She flicked her tail back up against her hind legs as she watched Rainbow crawl her way up to her flank. Twilight sighed softly as she let a nervous, yet excited, smile slip on her face when Rainbow laid her head on her cutie mark.

4316314 could be saucier. but what if they did that in stages, drawing it out and being sensual. pouring as much into it as possible, making it known as clearly as they can how they feel.
