So I re-read Dash of Humanity... 3 · 9:09am Nov 25th, 2016
Well I have a pretty good idea what's going on so I won't make an ass out of myself contradicting my own canon when I start writing again. I was going to do a survey on google docs of my followers to see who is still alive and what they want to see updated. Who knows, maybe you would all rather see Puppet to her Fame 2.
Anyway the survey I'll put on hold until I can make one that isn't rambling and all over the place, which is not 1 am that's for sure.
But feel free to leave comments below and answer some/all of the following:
1. What are you looking forward to in DoH3? Or, why are you still reading this series?
2. What other story of mine (or collab, looking at you Ponified without Consent) do you want to see get closure the most?
3. Which would be better? Old stories staying "unfinished" but more passionate work on 'new' story ideas? Or, giving as much closure as possible on old stories?
4. Read my mind and give me useful advice in response to this question?
I know it's 1am on turkey day and all so I probably won't hear much for a day or two but figured I'd ask.
1. I didn't read DoH3 yet; still busy with DoH2. Why reading? Because it's... good?
(That's a valid reason, right?)
2. Ufff... Ask something easier... I'm unfamiliar with most of your stuff yet.
3. I personally prefer it to bring stories to closure instead of leaving them unfinished forever. At least a single chapter that concludes the story instead of leaving everything open.
4. The answer you are looking for is a glass of warm milk in addition to a tasty biscuit.

2. Haven't read most of your other stories, so I can't say. I guess I'd read more X gets turned into a pony, so Ponified Without Consent.
3. More passionate work. If you're not feeling it for old stories you haven't updated in years you shouldn't feel pressured to finish them.

Dude its been awhile since i read your stories, but i still remember DoH1 where soarin finds out he screwed an alien dude. Hah it was epic still is.

I don't remember Soarin ever being told about the situation with Dash and Dawn.
I say finish "Dash of humanity 3" but do not pressure yourself finishing it

Yeah after dawn and soarin race dawn then spills the info and then dash gets upset with dawn. Later after it happens dash finds out shes pregnant and its technically dawns. So dash and soarin arent together and dash and dawn are. Although its either towards the end of DoH1 or the begging of DoH2. Just ask kaidan.

Yeah, I think that's towards the end of DoH2. DoH1 ends with Dawn dying and the race arc is right about where I am in DoH2.

Think I've known about the pregnancy thing for a while anyway. (ever since they got with Soarin) I expected DoH2 to start with Dawn in Dash's body and pregnant, tbh.

I'm going to be blunt here and say that at some point(I think it was when reading DoH 3) I just looked up from reading and thought: what's the point of the story anymore? Is it just to make Dawn the universe's punching bag?
First story was great. The second was good. But the third just didn't appeal to me.

It's good, but the slice-of-life has its ups and downs. I really miss the internal monologues with Dash.

well after I just looked threw your story's it looks as if I have read a few I am sure you know that as I do try to post several comments.
as to the DOH series I love the story line and your righting style.
but the story of yours that really puled at my hart Scootaloo the Fugitive hoofs down that story will generate a few tears.
if I was to say any thing to you Kaidan it would be to simply right the way you want to, you are the only true pony that needs to be happy with YOUR story.
1. I enjoy reading slice of life fics of this talking more about the simple troubles (though the added case and main conflict so far is very interesting.
2. I would say this only due to it being the only story of yours I read I believe.
3. I want to be an asshole and try to pressure you into finishing the older works, but you know I'm not an asshole so xD
Either way I'd prefer if you at least gave'em a glance and evaluated if you actually want to work on them and make an informed decision (if it's possible even) on your muse and where it better fits.
4. My mind reader skills became corrupted after visiting 4chan so I'll leave this up to others
I have only one thing to say... If you do even a partial rewrite, please don't render Dash of Humanity: Monster moot.
I didn't even realise there was a DoH 3, I thought you were still writing 2. Guess they got lost in my feed at some point.
1. Everything involving the pregnancy. I have a mild preg fetish.
2. I am partial to Choose Your Own Clopventure and Vore Is Magic.
3. New and passionate work. Apart from DoH3, I feel like the other incomplete works are still pretty okay as they stand.
1. I just enjoy good stories, so if you keep at DoH series I will keep on reading to be seeing where it goes. (Not really that hard to please)
2. The main story i am looking forward to is Ponified Without Constant. I don't really know of any other stories though. I already have to many on my list that I have to read...

4. Write what YOU want to. If you are writing something that you don't want to write the story won't be as good as if, if you did enjoy writing it.

Dawn being pregnant, the potential three way with Dash and Flutters and justice against Soarin and Dawn dealing with that.
1. Frankly a lighter turn. I kept it favorited to see updates, but if it stays dark I'm probably not going to keep up with it. (IE leave it liked but move it out of favorites.) I was happy with where DoH 2 ended. My reaction to DoH 3 was something along the lines of "oh great more bullshit" not "I enjoy this." The main character (whose name I cannot recall atm) getting relentlessly shit on isn't enjoyable to read. It doesn't have to be entirely sunshine and rainbows, or even any sunshine and rainbows whatsoever, but the constant "it sucks for the main character and always will" gets tiresome.
