I can't believe people are liking my new fanfic.

I haven't written here in ages, but due to some life circumstances, I have decided to write a fanfic to express some thoughts I've been having for a while. What's the best way to do so? Art, music, contemporary dancing? Hell no, it's through a My Little Pony fanfic!

The idea was to see how each pony lived her life once they grew up. It is about how they developed relationships, had careers, faced crisis, and eventually die. I wrote the first chapter, posted it on reddit and I got some harsh criticism. I tried my best not to be defensive and analyzed it. I then did research on how to improve the parts I was told I was weak in. I corrected many mistakes and made some changes in style and content. Then I wrote the second chapter but this time trying to do it right for the first time.

To my surprise, a lot of people have liked it and they tell me they want to read what happened next. Even the people that say it's too grim or sad say they want to know what's next. This has been really interesting and satisfying. When I'm finished with it, I'm going to make an audio-book, but I will do it like the Harry Potter and the methods of rationality podcast and get a different voice actress for each character and one for the narrator.

Anyway, I know it's just another fanfic among hundreds in this site, but I am really excited about it.
