    Strike, fade, run

“Striking, fading and running. Each of these are three well used moves, my Lady.” Twilight spoke. “Most importantly, running.”

“Why would I run?” Rarity huffed, still bent over slightly and catching her breath.

    April, with many a day…

So I just spent from the third through today (sort of, still have some driving to do) on holiday. Went to Dallas to see the Eclipse in totality, swung though Hot Springs for… well, the hot springs, and finally St Louis for a lovely riverboat dinner before bidding the Boyfriend farewell and starting the trip home.

    Well, I started it...

All Good Things... has commenced. I may have a chapter of it up tonight.

I really want to start closing out the unfinished stories, but sometimes you just can't get back into the flow for them. Sorceress and the Siren is one, Into the Wilds is another. Which is sad cause I love writing Azure.

    Homecoming, in retrospect.

Homecoming as a series is a glorious mess. I’ve gone on short bits of fluff, created some … unique ships, twisted the fabric of canon EqG, and even touched on some dark topics.

    Don't you just hate it...

When you can't find something when you need to?

Case in point, I went looking for a comment where they alluded to It being like Frodo saving the Shire for everyone but himself and had to sail to another land to find solace.

But I can't remember what fic or anything else.

    And it's frustrating to me.

    Meanwhile, in other news...

So, in regards to Forgotten Legacy, · 10:54pm Mar 28th, 2017

And I know I posted this previously, but I want to show what inspired the idea for the current fiction, as well as promote a great little CGI work.

The sound and feel of this song and some of the visuals inspired the feel I'm going to try for. Let's see if I succeed.

Probably one of my 5 favorite anime openings and I loved the Argodaemon version.

5. Limit Break x Survivor(Dragon Ball Super). Just a recent favorite but I just loved the frantic pacing and the sheer energy of it.

4. Butterfly- Koji Wada (Digimon Adventure tri) As a fan of Digimon and especially the first series I felt like a kid watching this... even if I don't like the new characters.

3. Cruel Angel's Thesis(Neon Genesis Evangelion) Not counting Pokémon or Digimon, Neon Genesis Evangelion was my first anime and one of my favorite ones. The psycological drama as well as the action was a good thing in the 90's.

2. Seishōujo Ryouiki (Rozen Maiden Traumend) Found this anime because of my best friend and fell in love with it. The second opening just cemented it.

Nice choices.

It may just be the way it was presented, but I never could get into NGE. It just seemed too stuffed full of too many genres to work, but i did miss few episodes when it aired on Adult swim. Asuka deserved to be the hero of that show imho, though.

4475804 Eh, Asuka never clicked with me. Always felt like she was higher than life. She did mellow out especially after the Angel assaulted her mind and made her catatonic. I liked Rei more.

Rei was good too, yes.

I don't know, I just couldn't get into it.

4475806 It was a matter of taste. I went into it after a hard time and could identify with most of the characters.
