A few days ago I opened up commissions for a charity cause to help out Jackie Anderson a.k.a Sakura Fraust. I'll be honest, while I think humanity is good as a whole I sometimes risk pessimism or even slight misanthropy when confronted with some of the worst this species of naked talking monkeys can do. I am brimming with joy to see my views of good vindicated and I couldn't be prouder of you all.
In less than 48 hours, members of the Bridge readerbase raised quadruple digit numbers in donations on YouCaring and PayPal. And it's still going. And those who can't offer money are helping in other ways, spreading word on DeviantArt, Tumblr, and other channels. All for someone most of them didn't know.
For folks like you guys and gals, it's an honor to entertain you all! And, all good deeds should be rewarded, even in small ways. I've kicked my rear in gear. "The Bridge: the Eclipse Times" chapter 2 is finished and being proofed, and I'm trucking through the next chapter of the main story at a pace of about 2,000 words a day; while also writing out chunks to the latest "Tales of the Amalgam'verse". Last part of which recently got this lovely illustration by FallenAngel.
I didn't really manage to help out much...What with my followers never reading my blog posts.
