I'll take thee away,
Into a land of enchantment.

This song figures heavily into the next chapter of Legacy, with a few extra verses added.

For those curious, I used the original Edgar Allen Poe poem the song was based around, not the Disney version. I needed something a little more spooky.

cool can't wait to read the next chapter I too will be adding a version of this song to my own story only instead of children it'll be Come every little pony. Sung to the same theme as 'Come little children'

I left the words of mine mostly unchanged. I wanted it to be a song Sonata had learned in the human world and not one she remembered from Equestria. It was the song, not the words, necessarily, that was important.

I did tweak the last few words to be more of an "It's alright, you can go to sleep now." type thing. Sonic suggestions and such. I used to make my D&D groups HATE me when they realized that the dungeon boss had levels in bard.
