Random thoughts, I said I was going to do more of these. · 3:38am Apr 17th, 2017
Well, after are last thoughts tons of PMs and promises for criticism - giant thanks to Cinder Vel. It's amazing what you can do if you just ask.
Money will now rain from the sky!!
...
No one? okay, on to thoughts.
Unicorns they are widely known to be "overpowered" I have never really believed, well the only one's that have mass amounts of magic are either alicorns or unicorns that have cutie marks based on magic.
even then most unicorns just do the basic of the basic like, Object Manipulation.
In season seven episode two, Starlight Glimmer says that her magic is based on her emotions - so in turn, the stronger the emotion the stronger the magic.
This brings up the question that, do all unicorns do this or is this special to Starlight Glimmer?
It my only be the latter as the writers maybe covering there tacks here, Twilight having natural talent for magic and Starlight having to rely on her emotions to do anything?
but here is the real fun question, Do all the unicorn's have a different "trigger" to use magic?
could you tell there "trigger" by there cutie mark?
is there unicorns with no "trigger"?
am I taking this to seriously for a show about cute technicolor ponies?
I shouldn't drink caffeine before bed...
We all have been overthinking this show once or twice...or dozen times.
I kinda thought that unicorns are just lazy, uninterested to spend time learning magic or that side-effect of having magic going through their heads and horns makes them a bit crazy in somw way.
But idea that their magic is based on emotions actually makes sense to me now. Unsure about triggees yet, need to watch new episode to see it first.
