Viewing unpublished stories of my own on the mobile Fimfiction site · 10:31pm Jul 5th, 2017

Ok, before I embarrass myself like I did last time with formatted vs. unformatted copy/paste, and since I was unable to find how to do this in the various help/blog stuff, I have a question:

[edit] Below, is how to How do you view your own unpublished stories on the Mobile Fimfiction site

Reason: I tend to draft, edit, shape, and polish to a point on my stories, then put the chapters into the unfinished story as I move on. Then, while I'm away from the computer and have a few minutes of free time, I'll read through them on my phone formatted in FimFiction BBS code format and some of the errors just leap off the page at me.

When I see an error (or twelve), I touch-highlight the goof and screen print the page.

Then when I'm back at the computer, I can pull up my photos and Search for the errors and fix them. (No, I can't edit on my phone. No way. Nope.)

Since the recent update, I can't get the mobile site to let me access my unpublished stuff any more, so it puts a crimp in my style. Any ideas? The Admiral and Shrink got it covered for me. Woot!

Swipe in from the left side, hit the "Account" toggle, scroll down to "My Content" and click "Stories".

Took me a while to find it too.

What works on my Android phone is open the left side dropdown menu (the three lines next to the Fimfiction logo), and then you should have a menu with your name and avatar at the top, and under that it has the menu sections for stories, library, etc.

Instead of scrolling down that, you ought to see up in the color bar at the top an item that says Account with a little arrow next to it. Click on that, and it will open a menu that has account information, logout, and below that a menu called My Content. If you just click on Stories, it'll take you to the view that shows all your stories including unsubmitted ones.

You can then click on the story you want, published or not, and then click on whatever chapter you need to.

EDIT: Damn, ninjaed.

As an alternative to what's been said already, check your web browser's settings to see if there is a "Request desktop view" option or something along those lines.

4593206 The Admiral and Shrink got it. Works on my iPhone. Woot!
