its a week until the nearest bronycon near me, and I'm on the fence if I should go. I really just tend to lurk around the merch booths (I can't say no to swag. my poor wallet suffers though) and there's not a great selection of guests this year. And I don't know anyone who who's interested in attending. I want to support the local brony community by showing up, but... it mostly feels like an excuse to get neat stuff I'll never be able to set out. I'm not a very open brony.
I've made the mistake of thinking some people might know my story (and me) at this convention, but I'm a small fish in a big pond.
Is anyone here going to Trotcon?
would've liked to, but had to chose between the con and the family reunion 28-30th of this month
Admittedly, I wasn't planning on going to Trotcon. Had my heart set on BC with a few friends, but that's sort of up in the air. :/
Cons are a good time though. Good to hang out with people, see the VAs and writers, and enjoy some artists. Major money sinkhole though.
I'm going! Just on Saturday though.
