Hello all, it's that wonderful time of the year again! It's convention season! That's right, and if you didn't already know this weekend is Trotcon in Colombus, Ohio. And, naturally, I'll be there! Trotcon is my "home con" if you were. I've been attending every year, and I plan to go until the very last one. We rarely break 1k people, which is fine. It's a small enough con that you can find your friends, and big enough to make new ones.
Now, the fun part. Normally I do a single writing panel, Writers Waffling about Writing Willingly, with a few other select writers where we take the time to answer other writers questions and help with what knowledge we've gained over the years, both Fimfiction wise and general writing. This year, however, I dun goofed and made it a 18 plus panel, so it got shoved into a 11pm slot on Saturday. Whoops! Hopefully some of you still stop by, providing you're not down the well is it t'were.
Got some more good news though! Because for this year (and possibly years to come depending on how this one goes) I'm taking over the Speed Fic panel from Present Perfect, who stepped down a couple years ago. I guess they've been looking for someone to fill in that spot, and well, I offered. Is that a good thing, or a bad thing? I dunno. But I'm bringing 11 typewriters with me to be used, so how I figure it it's either gonna be a lot of fun or a rousing failure. We shall see! That panel, Speed Fics R Us, is at noon on Friday, so be sure to come on by. Typewriters positions will be first come, first serve, and following that we'll just have paper and pencil for the rest.
I'm honestly not sure how many people are gonna show up for that panel, but how I figure it, if 5 people come then it will still be fun.
And like always, don't be shy! Look for the red and black plad O'neill hat with Big Mac pins on it, that's me! I'm also usually wearing suspenders, because how I figure it I'm setting a fashion trend ahead of time by at least fifty years. That's what you call ahead of the game! Feel free to walk up to me and chat, talk about MLP, fics, cars, or whatever else. And, best keep on the look out in the hotel lobby late at night, because maybe you'll get to join in on the world famous ROB Uno game. It's a tradition, one that is fun for the whole family (yes, I've had whole families join before.)

I wish I could go, but I got shit to do, and plus, I don't really feel like driving halfway to Baltimare then back, and then all the way there and back again in a couple weeks.
Sounds like a lot of fun though.
