And Time continues on... · 7:44pm Jul 16th, 2017
So... Aside from my now-husband nearly getting himself killed driving to the wedding, and me running about half an hour late with all the hair and make-up that needed to be done, the wedding went super well.
My goddaughter, now also my niece, being super adorable.
Me, all done up with make-up and crazy awesome hair and in my fantastic dress, with my amazing crown and earrings for accessories.
Super Adorbes Goddaughter going first down the aisle.
Followed by my bridesman, Ryan, and my husband's brother, DJ.
And then by my pinch-hitter Bridesmaid, Mulberry, and Husband's friend, Dabid.
Then finally, my matron of honor, Cari-Rose, and Hubby's bestie, TJ
Obligatory photo of hugging my dad after he'd walked me down the aisle.

Achievement Unlocked!!!
Bridal Party (Jedi) vs. Groom's Party (Sith)
Bridal Party TOTALLY owned the boys!
So everyone in the bridal party has some sort of bad eyesight issue... Mulberry, Cari and I all wear glasses... But Ryan wears contacts now... So we weren't all able to do that "skeptical look over the top of the frames" thing... This is the three of us doing that to him instead.
And my brother, Jinxy, keepin' things classy... Top hat, tux... and givin' his older sister bunny ears.
LeAnn (left) was originally going to be one of my bridesmaids, since she and I have been friends since high school. Under different circumstances, I might've asked Penny (right) to be a bridesmaid, but I know very well how much she hates dresses... In any case, I find it amusing that of our group of friends, I'm the youngest, and also the first one to the altar!
Our gloriously geeky wedding rings. Yes, those are the Sith and Jedi Class Rings (which can be found over on ThinkGeek's website)... We were low on time, and lower on funds, and said fuggit! No regrets!
A similarly geeky cake topper! Husband is a HUGE Superman fan, and has subsequently started referring to me as his Wonder Woman... Well... I may not be an Amazonian Princess sculpted from clay and brought to life by Divine Magic, but I'll run with it.
The groom's cake! Husband was mildly sad that our colors weren't black and yellow (from his family coat of arms)... So MomCord and I decided to get him a cake with his crest on it. For the record? It was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling... I'm told, it was good, but I'm not that much of a fan of chocolate.
And this was our wedding cake. We had two different cakes... the top tier (which we ate at the wedding) was red velvet cake and raspberry for the filling. The bottom tier (which I'm still salty about not getting any of) was white cake with lemon curd and raspberry fillings (in separated layers since there were four layers of filling). We also had a half-sheet cake that was red velvet cake and chocolate mousse filling.
I would also like to take a moment to squee over two of my dad's siblings making it to the wedding! I haven't seen Uncle Pete, nor Aunt Ann Larie in YEARS. But Ann made the trip from Colorado and Pete mercifully lives actually not far from where I am now.
Beautiful pic of me with my goddaughter/niece.
And of course I had to feed a bite of cake to Husband. Why wouldn't I?!
Cari-Rose and I have been friends for twenty-eight years... Good grief!!!
And of course, because our guest list was so family oriented, we were going bowling and drinking after the reception for the friends we couldn't invite... So I needed a dress more suited to such activity. And thus, you see it here.
Those are just some of my favorite pictures from the wedding.
In any case, Husband and I were unable to go anywhere for our Honeymoon so we just had a week off together. I applied for a new job, and wound up getting it! I'm now working at a car auction for dealers, checking cars in and out of the lot, and I'm working during the daytime now!
Sure it's full-time (which is a day or two more of shifts than I would really prefer), but the pay is better, the benefits are fantastic, and I'm actually sorta enjoying it... At least when it's busy... When it's dead, all I have to do is watch the amusement park across the highway... And THAT is all sorts of torture...
Further more, I've actually managed to start writing chapter one of the sequel of doom. I wound up breaking it into two parts, just to make sure I do everything justice... But... YEY! Chapter 1 started! It's still in pieces... but STARTED!
Anyways... that's Witchy for now... Take care and I hope you enjoyed the pics from the Wedding!
Love and Light,
