So with the creation of the Nexus-verse, playing copious Heroes of the Storm, and listening to some music, I have had some ideas come to me. Namely the one major idea being a writing prompt. I want to put some ideas out there and I want to see if anyone would be interested in writing them.
Here’s the deal. They’d all be one-shots with only a minimum word count of 3000 words. Now the ideas themselves are primarily just going to be Include these two characters as the focus, with a possible caveat thrown in for fun.
The Options:
- Lucio and Vinyl Scratch (DJ pon-3). Does not have to be a ship. That’s your choice. However this song must be used at some point in the story.
- Zerg Hunter Zeratul and Queen Chrysalis. This one’s open to interpretation.
- Ragnaros and Princess Celestia. Must be set in Canterlot/Canterlot Castle. Ragnaros’s personality is up to you, the author.
- Prince/King Arthas of Lordaeron and Octavia. Must include this in some form (can be mood/background music).
- Zul’jin x Rarity. Must be a shipfic. I want to know why they are together. I may have came up with the idea but I want to see someone’s take on it.
- James Raynor x Derpy. Same rules as Rari-jin.
- Fluttershy x Nova. Nova is new and is still figuring everything out. People regularly lose her because she doesn’t know how to turn of the permanent cloak. Nova also doesn’t really like guns and is a bit of an airhead.
- Leoric the Skeleton King and Coloratura (Rara). Must include this song in some form. (I was inspired so I’m stealing this one.
) - Prince Kael’thas and/or x Trixie. Must be set in Manehatten.
- Lastly Probius and/or x Pinkie. No limits here. Go nuts.

In regards to 4, with Arthas X Octavia, one could have him still have Frostmorne. Just not be properly Undead. There was a time when he had Frostmorne and was still a Paladin, so just use that.
