The secret to becoming a great writer is to write.
I don't know who said that first, but that's okay. The secret to writing is to steal from others.
I do know who said that first. I was paraphrasing from T. S. Eliot.
Well, I'm writing. I may not be the best, but I'm getting there. Short silly fic by short silly fic. Thank you all for hanging in there as I try to get better.
A friend of mine, Cynewulf (read her latest story, it's awesome! I'll embed it below!), said that there isn't a secret to getting good fast. And I'm fine with that. I'm just going to keep writing.
She also said that I should keep on blogging. Good. I plan to, whether you read it or not. Though, if you're reading this, it means you're reading this, so thanks.
Why do I always insist on blogging while half asleep? Why do you even read my ramblings? I don't know. I guess I'm celebrating my last night as a teenager, and hoping that you all are having a good night/day too.
Here's Cyne's awesomely epic story:
And here are my latest two, I forgot to link them earlier.
I since a want to redo your childhood or is that a horrible observation?

happy birthday
I don't have much else to say
As simple advice as that is, there’s a shocking amount of people who refuse to believe it. It’s shameful to think anybody could be off writing quality novels without practice, yet everyday I hear a case of someone complaining to not be good, who’s never made an effort to practice. Football players can’t be drafted without touching the field, and artists can’t paint Mona Lisa without stick figures. In a way, you could even say Rome wasn’t built in a day. Whenever I’m tasked to give advice, I always tell them to practice practice practice.
I’m so glad to see you doing just that, and I’m always amazed by how well your stories are. (Once I manage to get the time to sit down and read them.) the clear practice is definitely helping you, and I can’t wait to see your skill level improve.
