Growth, but nothing unmanageable. · 3:08am Mar 19th, 2018
I was hoping to get work finished on the next chapter for Scars of the Quill on Tuesday, but it looks like it's going to continue growing in the telling. So yeah, if I'm lucky, it'll be done on Wednesday instead.
Regardless, I'm on track to get it out and online on Friday. I'm cautiously optimistic that it'll cause folks to sit up and take notice, if only because of the big thing that I have planned for it.
Best wishes on all of that. I've had to put my writing on hold for the moment due to a troublesome history essay.
Looking forward to finding out what that big thing in the next chapter is...

Yeesh. My condolences. I remember when schoolwork got in the way of my creative pursuits. Senior year of college was not fun, let me tell you.
I'll confirm right now that the next chapter, and the one following, are ones that I've looked forward to writing for years. I can only hope that they're worth the wait for my readers.

Oh, I don't doubt that at all! I had it rough in senior year too; dealing with both senior research and with an honors capstone project. HOW I got through that without going mad I'll never know. (In case you're curious, I re-enrolled for a semester so to complete a minor I wasn't able to finish prior to graduating. That's what the essay is for.)
Well, now I'm really interested to see what'll happen in that next chapter, then... :

Oh, if only I were as ambitious and hard-working as you.
Fingers crossed that I don't disappoint.
