Happy Birthday Madeline Peters (And Happy Early Birthday Ashliegh Ball) · 3:05pm Mar 30th, 2018
Today is Madeline Peters' birthday. She is of course, the talented young woman who voices Scootaloo. But she hasn't had any other voice acting roles anywhere in the show, or Equestria Girls. Ironically, of the CMC's voice actors, she is the oldest. She was already a teenager when she first started recording her lines (Claire and Michelle were younger by a few years).
And since tomorrow will have the focus on an entirely new episode ("The Maud Couple"), I want to go ahead and wish Ashliegh Ball a happy early birthday. She voices Rainbow Dash and Applejack, among other characters. And is part of the Indie Rock Band known as "Hey Ocean" (despite this, she has only gotten one solo Rainbow Dash song, and a few Applejack songs where she performs with others).
I'm particularly looking forward to what both can bring to the table for Season 8. An episode that has me especially intrigued is "The Washouts". Right now we only have a synopsis to go on, so there isn't much beyond speculation. But the concept of Scootaloo joining a group and Rainbow Dash worrying for Scootaloo's safety, has the potential to be a great episode if done properly.

There's a new episode called Surf or Turf, where the CMC visit the Hippogriff kingdom at Mt. Aris and are guided by the cousin of Princess Skystar. Some of the Hippogriffs want to remain as seaponies in Seaquestria, while others want to start rebuilding Mt. Aris.
