So as most of you surely know, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is ending in 2019 and they will be starting a new generation. Yes, some think it's great to be cleaning the slate off and just starting a new generation of the show bronies and pegasisters alike enjoy. But myself and several others don't.
How would you like for Twilight to be an earth pony and Pinkie a pegasus? The second part I'm fine about, but making Twilight an earth pony is like taking a part of her away.
And how would you like for LUNA to be taken away? It is not what some of us want!
If you don't want a generation of the show you love, you can help save it!

I don't think we should just be so dismissive of a new show. MLP FIM is my favorite show of all time, and has been of my favorites since childhood, but I'd be biased to say it has no problems, and every show has to end sometime. Also, FimFiction would still stay, and may include many fanfics of the new show. Who knows? Gen 5 could be far better than Gen 4 for all we know. And most of the characters have been fully developed or close to it, so while there can still be many more stories to be told, there wouldn't be as much character development as there could be with a new set of characters. Trust me when I say I wish the show could go on forever, but it's better for the series to end on a high note than to run on for a few more decades and become stale and bad like Spongebob, the Simpsons, or something like that. I'll sign it anyways because everybody else seems to want it, but I'm just saying people shouldn't be too upset with a new show.
