I write emo romance stories about Spike, listen to music that should have died with MySpace and play a lot of Final Fantasy 14. That's about it.

    Remember Obscure Spike Shippings?

Remember when obscure Spike shippings that were met with middling reviews and a lot of confused interest popped out of this account like every few months?

    Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Remember Spike stories that felt like they could have an entire pop-punk album written based on them?

Would You Consider a Santa Hat? (2020)

    Hey everyone!

Look, 2020 has SUCKED for most people. That being said, I think it's high time we start spreading holiday cheer a little early this year!

If you would like, why don't we all have some good old jinglemas fun by popping a cute little Santa hat on our avatars? It's quite simple to do and it adds a bit of color and festive-ness to our accounts!

My Thoughts on Surf and/or Turf (s8e6) · 4:01pm Apr 21st, 2018

Hey guys! I have to leave for work here in a sec, but here's my quick thoughts on the new episode!

So, this episode was pretty great. Like, it was actually a lot deeper than I thought.

The basic idea of it is that a hippogriff isn't sure whether to live on land or in the sea. Part of his family chose to stay in the sea while another part to stay on land and he's stuck between the two. The CMC are chosen to help him out.

The characters in this episode were great and the message was extremely mature for what it is. Like, although it had a nice coat of kid-friendly paint, there were a lot of sub-messages regarding what its like to have divorced parents and feeling stuck between two worlds. It handled the topic with a lot of respect and of course had a friendly resolution... but the message rang loud and clear.

Final score: 8.5/10

Anyway, I gotta go. Catch y'all later!

I give it a 9/10

This episode reminded me how truly blessed I am to never have to deal with divorced parents. Though my little cousin (who was only 6 at the time) had to go through it and she was really hurt by it. But at least she's doing well now just like Terramor.

I had to deal with separation on my end. But my father didn't give a shit about seeing me, lol.

It was tough, but friends got me through it. This episode had some real truth to it.

Definitely my highlight of season 8 so far.
I don't think I've ever seen the impact of separation and divorce handled so well.
Pleased to see how well it worked out for Terramar.
Looking forward to more good episodes!
