RIP Totalbiscuit

You can find him in all sorts of places:

He’s on Gamestops, laptops, desktops, street shops,
Dropped Frames, Warframes, famous places, game cases--
In the strange game of internet fame, he calls the shots.

Companies claim cash with impunity --
Copyright strikes left and right before John
Takes them on, fighting for consumer rights,

Turned on the light for the community.

He sent subscribers to small-time strangers,
Set the damn scene for the Steam indie scene,
And gave form to the norm for his platform.
He’s an inspirator, a creator,
And an entertainer and, in the end,

Was a husband, a father, and a friend.

For anyone who hasn't heard the news.

It's rare for me to get really affected by "celebrity" deaths. But I loved watching Totalbiscuit's videos in the past, and he's introduced me to a lot of good games and content creators over the years.

So here's a really soppy poem in honour of the guy. Gonna miss him.

Ah dang.

Any suggestions for other reviewers with something like his "WTF is" format? The great thing about it was that the videos were more about showcasing the game than stating his personal opinion. This is why his videos introduced me to some games that I've enjoyed a great deal but he didn't even like all that much.
