First Blog Post Ever! · 8:41pm Jun 6th, 2018
Hey, so I've never done a blog post before. This is a whole new thing, so bear with me.
Some things about me
I am a 22-year-old guy.
I prefer cartoons to live-action shows.
My favorite cartoon is Total Drama, and has been since 2007. I've grown up through middle school, high school, and college with that show.
My favorite food is spaghetti and meatballs. I'm all about the pasta, sauce, and garlic.
My favorite song is 'Endless Possibilities' from the game, Sonic Unleashed. It really speaks to me on a personal level.
My dream is to become a well-known fiction writer and also do some voice acting. Maybe one day a book series I write will be turned into movies, and my name will be listed under 'Based on the book by' in the credits. And the list of voices we see under 'Featured Voice Performers' during the end credits of a Friendship is Magic episode, one day I'd like to be listed under something like that for a cartoon if I get the opportunity.
I started watching Friendship is Magic when season 3 was in the middle of airing, but only joined FimFiction two years ago.
My favorite character is Pinkie Pie because of her optimistic attitude and her ability to do incredibly cartoonish things that rival Discord's usual shenanigans. She makes me laugh a lot, and reminds me of a character from Total Drama named Izzy.
I unashamedly ship Twilight with Flash, Big Mac with Cheerilee, Shining Armor with Cadence, and Starlight with Sunburst. When it comes to animated characters, I fall for their relationships hard.
I am very picky about the status quo. If a show regularly changes the status quo, I'm fine with it. For example, Friendship is Magic is always changing, and I accept that. If a show keeps a status quo for most of the run, then I have a hard time accepting change. For example, Phineas and Ferb always had a status quo at the end of the day, except the finale where certain characters make changes to their lives that I have trouble swallowing.
I am also very picky about episodes showing the future. Most of the time, they show something that I do not agree with and that usually ruins the whole episode for me.
I think that's enough about me now, so I'll end the post here. I'll make another one soon, maybe with details about story ideas I have been considering. Thanks for reading!
