Just a Quick Update · 4:41am Jul 25th, 2018
Hey everyone,
Apologies that you haven't really heard from me all summer, but I do mean it when I say that I'm back this time. Things have been going on in my personal life in the background over the last few months that I'd rather not talk about, but just know that I'm okay. What happened has been dealt with, and I'm ready to keep going on with my writing.
That being said, things are going to be changing for the rest of the summer.
I've decided that I'm going to put my old method of writing aside for the moment while I'm currently in school and not able to upload weekly. So that means that EtF and Timelocked will be put aside for the moment. Not necessarily a hiatus, but they won't be my focus. I feel as if I need to be the top of my game to write them appropriately, and being in as deep of a funk as I was; I can't just crawl out of a hole and get back to the top immediately.
So, what now, then?
One-shots. One-shots will be my focus for the rest of the month and a half, leading with What Happens at Clipper's..., Empty Skies's little spin-off series. I think having these smaller, bite-sized short stories will be an appropriate warm-up for tackling the bigger projects.
I've currently been working on the second part of the main three-part arc of Clipper's (Three Suns and a Dawning Heart), which tackles rekindling the flames that Sunset left behind when she chose to jump through the portal before the first Equestria Girls movie. My goal is to have that out by the end of this week.
As for everything else? We'll have to see. Eventually, I'll have regained my confidence, and I'll be back to doing things as normal. Big things are coming up for EtF especially, and I need to be ready for them.
Also, you know, gotta prepare for a certain sequel that's starting to creep up on me. That'll be fun!

I really don't like putting EtF on the backburner; it's probably my favorite story of everything I have out right now. But after rewriting the start of the next chapter for the third time, I decided that banging my head at it wouldn't be enough. Thanks for understanding, though.

While weekly updates are nice, I think I’m just happy you’re still around and don’t have bad stuff going on irl.
