Trying to get both feet on the ground

Personal trauma recently led me to delete my old account. This cost me my major work, numerous friends, several stories I was in the process of writing.

Now I am trying to move house, yet again.

I may have a new job lined up, which would be nice.

In the meantime, I need story inspiration.

You like emergency medicine, am I right? So why not do a story about human war medics in Equestria. For a setting, I would choose Canterlot during the time it was invaded by Queen Chrysalis and her Changelings but in a more.. gorey way. These medics would have to face their fear of war and overcome it with the help of their equine friends. To start with the story, I would start with the calm before the storm, escalating into this war. From what I was able to read of Auribus teneo lupum, you are able to develop your characters well. For me, war medics are doctors as well as they are psycologists. If he or she is able not to only to alleviate a soldier's physical and emotional pain to keep hope alive, then his or her work is a complete success. I have a sort of quote which I have used as a sort of mantra whenever I had hard times: "Fight now so that you don't have to fight anymore". With this, I mean to say that despite all the negative experiences and pain you might face in your life, if you are willing to work hard enough, you could become a better version of yourself.
