Okay, this was seriously over due... · 8:20am Sep 8th, 2018
I wish I could say that this was some announcement about the next chapter of Hell & High Water. I wish I could tell you that chapter 18 is nearly done and I'm just pondering a few minor details.
Unfortunately, neither of these are the case. Progress has been stalled for far too long. Every time I pick it up again, I make it a few paragraphs before something else in life gets up and punches me in the gut. This is the first time I'm getting hit with legitimate writer's block from this off and on depression. School starting has indeed given me more time to myself after leaving my summer job, and while its helped with reducing stress levels (somehow) it hasn't helped at all with the more private matters.
Bottom line, and I've been considering this for awhile, The story is going on a full hiatus until I can pull myself together. I don't know how long this'll last, but I'd like to kick it off before Winter Break. I hate having to do this, and I'm sorry for going silent for so long. I can;t do anything but apologize for now. I promise that I'll get this train wreck moving again as soon as I deal with the actual mess around me.
Thanks for following Sunset and Dash's mess so far, everyone, I promise things aren't over.
It's ok. I've been dealing with an artist block for a few years. You need to take time for yourself. That is the most important thing.
Unless you mark the story cancelled no one's gonna leave so go on and do you, we'll wait.
Just make sure to holla when you get back.
My sympathies.
Good luck on trying to collect yourself, I love this story and really can't wait for more. Writer's block is definitely a major adversary with writing, but take your time. As much as I'd love to see more, don't force yourself with it. Just let it come to you, ya know?
Wish you the best.
Thank you for updating, the worst part is when authors leave a story on Hiatus and say nothing
