The Crooked Man

Just saw a movie called, "The Crooked Man. (CM)"

So basically, CM is summoned by reciting the poem.
CM is kinda like Candyman or Bloody Mary movies.

Think Candyman was based on a Clive Barker book, not sure.

Anyway, some dopey girls recite the poem and things go south. Not going to spoil the movie.
It wasn't the best movie I've watched, they did manage to have a few cheap jumpscares.
But the movie had some interesting bits.
I do like how CM gets into his victim's heads, and makes them see things before he gets them.

Since I'm into the Foundation/SCP stuff, I figured that CM was some entity that lives in a hell dimension.
Probably like the Old Man SCP

The poem has a certain beat that opens the way to CM's dimension and CM is free to do as he wishes.
It might have possible to use CM as a fire and forget weapon against enemies, but that part got lost over the ages.

What if people were able to go to CM's dimension?
What if they came back different, crooked?
What if folks who go to CM's dimension end up looking beautiful and graceful.
But when they come back to our confining dimension, they end up looking crooked.
Like taking something that's too long for a small box so you have to crumple it up.

There are some cool ideas in this movie that could be fun to play with.
Also some of these ideas would work for MLP too.

There was a crooked stallion that trotted down a crooked mile.
He found a crooked bit on a crooked stile...

We know that the ponies have portal magic.
All we need is some sort of research on them.
