It is my great conceit that I can write interesting stories for utter strangers and maybe sometime in the far far future get paid for it.

    I'm back

Windows 10 had some problems with my network so I had to take it out back and give it the Ol Yeller treatment.
Got a new puppy, Windows 11.
Hopefully, it won't savage my ankles.

    Onto posting stuff.

    Corruption is spreading!

    The Season of Flatulence.
    Silent but deadly.
Believe us it will be a gas!
    Gaslighting is encouraged.

Buy a Taco Hell, Beastly Burrito to join.

    Ok, that's enough.

After a millisecond of consideration, I've decided to post MLP fanfics that I kept on DeviantArt here.
May Celestia have mercy on your, um, they're not that bad.

    Ponyger

We sat in the North Garden under the cooling shade of the gazebo. The air was warm, and full of the sleepy buzz of no so busy bees. I sat and looked at the half-empty pitcher of ice tea, and thought about what I was going to say next.

    Ghostwire Tokyo

    What is Ghostwire Tokyo?

In a nutshell, its a buddy ghost busting game.

You get to bust ghosts without having a nuclear reactor on your back.
No worries about crossing streams either.

It's a buddy game because it's like those movies where they pair two different folks,
and they have to work together. One person knows more than the other person who has a totally different skillset.

My head churned. So hard to focus on any ideas. Why is my bed so hard? The new purple mattress was supposed to be firm but yielding. I opened my purple eyes. Well, that didn't help. My room was still dark as a tomb. Took a sniff. Okay, I have a few old books in my room. They have that lovely old book smell. Didn't smell that. Just old somethings and cold stone.

Sniffed again and started choking on the dust. Okay, Spike may not be the best housekeeper, but he tries pretty hard. I doubt he would leave all of this dust in my room. An idea sneaked into my head. Maybe I wasn't in my room. No, that doesn't make sense. I don't teleport in my sleep. I'm in my bed with my rock hard new mattress. Another thought wondered where was my bedding. That's an easy question. I bucked it off. I sleep rough. Kicking my bedding and pillows is normal for me. Need some light.

Tried to focus on a basic light spell, nope, my mind was too unsettled for me to do a spell. I attempted to sense the magic in the area, that failed too. What is going on? Fear started to move in. What if I was in a awful place without my magic? I pushed the fear back with a weak laugh.

That's when I heard the screaming. Not sure what was being said. I sat up and looked around.

A reddish light was moving toward me! It was traveling down a hallway.

Now, I knew for sure I wasn't in my bed at home. My tail and ears drooped.

"Wake up pony! Wake up!" Something yelled.

I guess it was at me. I stood up and tried to cast a spell again. No, my mind wasn't ready.

The reddish light came from small fireballs thrown by a small horned creature. A bunch of skeletons raced at the creature.

Skeletons? Yeah, they even had weapons and shields in their hands. Their heads were round and not pony shaped. One fireball blew several attackers to bits, but somehow they reformed themselves.

I should be able to sense the magic behind all of the action but I couldn't. This bugged me. I'm the princess of magic and friendship and I couldn't do magic anymore. Hope it's just a temporary situation.

Before I could descend into hopeless thoughts, the horned creature walked up to me.

"Twilight Sparkle, do you hear me?" The creature said.

"Yes, and my hearing is quite good thank you," I said.

The creature frowned. "Name's Ixil, we're gonna be skeleton snacks unless we get out of this tomb!"

Wait, what? I'm in a tomb? Why? "Why?"

Ixil sighed.

I didn't like hearing that sigh. He's going to talk to me like I'm a foal. I just know it.

"You were summoned to this world by my master but something went wrong and you ended up here. I'll explain more, but we need to leave!" Ixil said while looking back at the approaching skeletons and something else.

I saw it too. A tall creature wrapped in dusty decaying rags with the skull of a horse. It loped toward us while the skeletons got closer.

"Ixil, let's go!" Until I got my powers back, I didn't want fight anything.

Ixil said finally, and ran in front of me.

How did I get here? How do I escape?

Here's an idea.
Twilight Sparkle ends up in a war between demons/angels/men and alien machines from another world.
Imagine MLP+ Diablo 2 and eldritch machines draining the world of magical power.
